Tech Support Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical assistance for Connect America Personal Emergency Response Devices.

• Offer prompt support to subscribers.

• Adhere to established protocols for technical support.

• Assist with installation and troubleshooting in collaboration with subscribers and service providers.

• Ensure regular attendance in line with scheduling requirements.

• Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing clean and pressed business attire while on duty.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the call handling system, reporting procedures, protocols, and associated training.

• Adhere to Connect America's standards and regulations.

• Follow HIPAA confidentiality regulations and standards.

• Arrive for scheduled shifts on time and be prepared for responsibilities.

• Complete designated side tasks.

• Execute additional tasks assigned by supervisors, shift leaders, managers, or the leadership team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability to work all shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays, with varying schedules.

• Capacity to sit or stand for extended periods.

• Willingness to work long hours when necessary.

• Ability to ensure accurate and efficient data entry in fast-paced environments.

• Proficient listening skills, with the ability to understand and clarify concerns raised by team members, subscribers, installers, and callers.

• Capability to communicate information and ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.

• Quick and accurate evaluation and selection among various courses of action.

• High School Diploma is required.

• Strong computer proficiency.

• Customer service skills are essential.

• Preferred: 2+ years of call center experience.

• Background checks are mandatory.

• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish, Russian, or Chinese.
