Tech Manager, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Design and expand AI systems in production, including LLM agents, recommendation engines, and personalization features.

• Create multi-agent workflows and AI microservices that function effectively at scale.

• Transform business challenges into AI-driven solutions that yield measurable results.

• Develop and implement AI features that enhance conversion rates, customer retention, and overall customer experience.

• Assemble and lead a high-performing AI team, making 2–5 new hires each quarter.

• Set up MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and a scalable AI infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams in high-performance, fast-paced settings.

• 3+ years of experience in building and deploying AI/ML systems in production, such as LLMs, recommendation systems, or personalization technologies.

• Practical experience with LLMs, AI APIs, and frameworks like LangChain or similar.

• Extensive experience in designing scalable architectures, microservices, and AI pipelines.

• Demonstrated success in delivering AI solutions that align with business outcomes (e.g., conversion rates, revenue, user experience).

• Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based AI infrastructures.

• Strong understanding of MLOps, including deployment, monitoring, model lifecycle management, and performance optimization.

• Experience in hiring, mentoring, and expanding engineering teams.

• Excellent ability to link technical decisions with business results.

• Proficiency in English, suitable for a global, remote team environment.
