Tech Lead, MLOps – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the MLOps strategy on Databricks, establishing architecture and standards;

• Create and assess CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models (training, packaging, deployment, rollback);

• Set forth practices for model versioning and registry, feature stores, experiment reproducibility, and serving;

• Implement comprehensive observability: performance, data/model drift, data quality, and business metrics;

• Evaluate pull requests and significant architectural decisions; provide mentorship to the team on complex subjects;

• Safeguard governance, security, and cost management of the data and AI platform;

• Engage in essential ceremonies (planning, technical refinements, checkpoints), tailored for a part-time schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated senior experience as a Tech Lead, MLOps, or ML/AI platform Architect within a production environment;

• Practical expertise with Databricks (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, managed MLflow, Model Serving, Workflows, Spark) and cost/performance enhancement;

• Solid grounding in Python and software engineering (testing, version control, CI/CD);

• Background in pipeline orchestration, model versioning/registry (MLflow), and production monitoring.
