This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and enhance machine learning components related to data, training, evaluation, and inference.
• Modify and adjust models as part of comprehensive production systems.
• Conduct evaluations and testing to gain insights into model performance.
• Assist in creating and sustaining data pipelines for both real-world and synthetic datasets.
• Troubleshoot model issues, performance challenges, and production-related incidents.
• Deliver enhancements in an iterative manner and gather insights from actual user feedback.
• Collaborate closely with senior ML engineers and product teams.
• Operate within real production parameters: latency, cost, reliability, and safety.
• Strong foundational knowledge in machine learning and contemporary neural architectures.
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) is essential.
• Some practical experience in training, fine-tuning, or deploying machine learning models.
• Proficient in writing production-quality code and quick to adapt to new tools.
• Inquisitive, receptive to coaching, and eager to learn from real-world production systems.
• Capable of navigating ambiguity with guidance and progressively taking on more ownership.
• A strong inclination towards shipping, iterating, and continuous enhancement.
