Tech Lead Fullstack – Java/React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical lead, ensuring both architectural integrity and high-quality delivery.

• Design and enhance backend and frontend architectures that align with both business and non-functional requirements.

• Establish and maintain technical standards, best practices, and development guidelines.

• Proactively address technical challenges and structural issues.

• Assist in complex technical decision-making and facilitate architecture reviews.

• Write code when necessary, particularly for critical or foundational components.

• Guarantee seamless integration among frontend, BFF, and backend systems.

• Provide oversight for technical aspects, including observability, security, and resilience of solutions.

• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, UX, QA, and other technical stakeholders.

• Enhance the team's technical capabilities through ongoing mentoring, reviews, and guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in modern Java (17+ / 21+).

• Experience with Spring Boot and/or Micronaut.

• Advanced knowledge of React, including a strong understanding of frontend architecture.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and the BFF pattern.

• Competence in REST API design and versioning.

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.

• Experience with integration of critical systems (REST, events, webhooks).

• Understanding of authentication and authorization methods (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC).

• Familiarity with resilience strategies (retry, circuit breaker, timeout, fallback).

• Expertise in data persistence (both relational and event-driven).

• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ, or similar).

• Knowledge of end-to-end observability (logs, metrics, distributed tracing).

• Understanding of application security principles (OWASP Top 10, data protection).

• Proficient with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with CI/CD and continuous delivery practices.

• Experience with code quality tools (SonarQube or similar).

• Proficient in using Git in a collaborative environment (PR, code review).

• Demonstrates technical leadership through example.

• Possesses clear, direct, and assertive communication skills.

• Ability to make informed technical decisions under pressure.
