Tech Lead, Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Accelerate Global Onboarding: Spearhead the implementation of a highly efficient, high-conversion self-service product designed to eliminate onboarding challenges for new B2B partners.

• Scale our Experimentation Engine: Design and manage a comprehensive experimentation framework utilizing Growthbook, allowing the team to safely conduct intricate, simultaneous A/B tests across our frontend and backend systems without sacrificing performance or code integrity.

• Lead a Blended Architecture: Effectively oversee and design a varied ecosystem that seamlessly integrates high-traffic frontend applications (Tanstack/React/TS) with backend services (Kotlin/AWS) alongside our core CRM/ERP data workflows (Salesforce).

• Champion Engineering Excellence & AI: Set contemporary SDLC standards, promoting and mandating the use of AI-assisted development tools for accelerated coding, automated reviews, and testing.

• Empower a Cross-Functional Team: Cultivate a high-performance culture within a hybrid team of 6 engineers (4 Frontend, 2 Backend).

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven Technical Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing or leading cross-functional engineering teams within fast-paced environments.

• Experimentation & Growth Mindset: Profound practical knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and experimentation feature-flagging tools (preferably Growthbook, LaunchDarkly, Optimizely, or similar). You have expertise in constructing systems for rapid telemetry and tracking.

• Hands-on & Architecturally Sound: You maintain a passion for coding, reviewing pull requests, and confidently designing scalable systems. Proficient in Kotlin (or Java), AWS, React, and TypeScript.

• Distributed Systems Expert: Extensive experience navigating Microservices and Micro-frontend architectures at scale.

• AI-First Mindset: Actively utilizes and advocates for AI best practices (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance team productivity.

• Strategic Communicator: Fluent in English and skilled in asynchronous communication, able to convey complex technical trade-offs to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

• Mandatory Requirements:

• English Proficiency: Professional working proficiency in English, as collaboration with globally distributed teams is essential.

• Proven Engineering Leadership: Demonstrated experience in directly managing and leading cross-functional software engineering teams in high-growth, product-focused environments.

• Full-Stack Technical Depth: In-depth hands-on experience and a solid architectural understanding of modern full-stack ecosystems—specifically Kotlin (or Java), AWS, React, and TypeScript—capable of coding, reviewing PRs, and guiding system design.

• AI-First Engineering Mindset: Actively integrates AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) into personal coding, review, and documentation workflows, with the ability to promote these practices across the team.
