Tech Lead – ClarOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the technical direction and architecture for significant internal systems and services.

• Establishing quality benchmarks through comprehensive code and design reviews.

• Creating an integration platform that enables various teams within Clara to connect to the ClarOps backend.

• Evaluating product specifications from a technical standpoint to identify feasibility issues.

• Managing the team's execution cadence: sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

• Enhancing the team's capabilities through collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

• Facilitating cross-team problem-solving and architectural conversations.

• Utilizing AI tools to accelerate delivery and enhance workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience, demonstrating role-specific expertise as the senior technical authority on a team.

• Strong backend experience in Java.

• Proficient in leading a multidisciplinary team, with solid technical opinions on frontend architecture (preferably within React ecosystems) and integration.

• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), and event-driven systems.

• Possessing a technical product mindset: you engage with the roadmap, not just the sprint.

• Proficient in both English and Spanish.

• Demonstrating high levels of autonomy, proactivity, and an ownership approach.

• Active involvement or a genuine interest in utilizing AI tools to expedite code delivery and automate daily engineering tasks.

• Ability to adapt in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
