Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and oversee the long-term system architecture and technology strategy for internal platforms.

• Develop scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure tailored for future expansion.

• Convert business needs into well-structured technical solutions.

• Work collaboratively with product and business teams during the definition of product requirements and technical validation.

• Guide the engineering team by establishing development standards, code quality practices, and recruitment strategies.

• Design and implement contemporary data platforms capable of supporting analytics, AI, and machine learning workloads.

• Create scalable APIs, backend services, and platform components that facilitate seamless integration across various systems.

• Implement security best practices, access controls, compliance standards, and disaster recovery protocols.

• Promote engineering excellence through architecture reviews, mentoring, and ongoing process enhancements.

• Assess and integrate emerging technologies that enhance scalability, productivity, and platform reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–15 years of experience in Software Engineering, Technical Architecture, Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Technical Architect, Solutions Architect, Engineering Lead, Database Architect, or a comparable leadership position.

• Demonstrated experience in building enterprise platforms or internal systems from inception (0→1).

• Strong capability in leading engineering teams and influencing technical decision-making.

• Experience in dynamic startup or high-growth environments.

• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Extensive knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.

• In-depth understanding of data modeling, schema design, and query optimization.

• Practical experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar database technologies.

• Solid understanding of distributed systems and scalable application architecture.

• Experience in designing secure APIs and service-oriented platforms.

• Expertise in scalability, resiliency, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and contemporary engineering tools.
