Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technology domain from both a technical and operational perspective.

• Direct the engineering team while advancing the architecture of the systems.

• Guarantee the quality, predictability, and efficiency of project deliveries.

• Merge strategic leadership with substantial hands-on involvement in daily technical tasks, integrating development, team management, and process enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of software development experience, including at least 4 years in leadership roles for technical teams (Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar).

• Extensive expertise in C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core) within production settings.

• Practical experience with Node.js for services and APIs.

• Proficient in designing and versioning APIs using REST, GraphQL, and gRPC, selecting the appropriate method for each scenario.

• Proven experience with distributed systems: messaging/events (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), eventual consistency, idempotency, resilience patterns (retries, circuit breaker, timeouts), and observability (logs, metrics, tracing).

• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, with insight into data modeling and performance considerations.

• Familiarity with containers (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Capability to make and defend architectural choices based on scalability, cost, and sustainability factors.

• Coordination of delivery: planning, backlog prioritization, and ongoing follow-up.

• Commitment to a quality culture: code reviews, testing, and engineering standards.

• Support the mentorship and technical growth of the team.

• Manage operations: incident response, SLAs, and monitoring of OKRs/KPIs.

• Maintain clear communication with executive leadership and business units.

• Exhibit autonomy and maturity in decision-making without the need for constant validation.
