This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Develop a comprehensive quality and testing strategy for Semios Group, which includes establishing processes, implementing standards, and creating a workforce plan to align with priorities.
• Work closely with senior leadership, product management, project management, and other team leaders to define and execute the testing strategy.
• Engage in the design and execution of System Testing Architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and evaluate testing-related KPIs for Engineering.
• Provide guidance and work alongside developers in Engineering to effectively integrate testing into their workflows.
• Build and oversee a diverse testing team (both local and remote, including internal and third-party resources) by:
• Participating in recruitment efforts.
• Managing third-party testing providers.
• Guiding team members in effective problem-solving techniques, tools, and industry best practices.
• Offering consistent performance feedback to support employee growth and achievement of goals.
• Ensure operational excellence for Semios Group products through rigorous testing, which encompasses:
• Web and mobile applications.
• Firmware utilized in IoT devices.
• Data infrastructure that supports Data Analytics, Research, and data-driven Agriculture products.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong expertise in QA methodologies and testing practices.
• Proven experience leading QA teams in a dynamic, agile environment, preferably with distributed or remote teams.
• A history of enhancing engineering processes and fostering team success.
• Experience mentoring team members in problem-solving methods, tools, and best practices.
