Team Lead – PHP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the development of essential platform features across both backend and frontend systems.

• Design, implement, and uphold scalable functionalities for the platform.

• Produce high-quality production code utilizing Laravel, PostgreSQL, and Angular/TypeScript.

• Take ownership of database design, performance, and data integrity within a multi-tenant SaaS environment.

• Collaborate closely with Product, TPM, and Design teams to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate cross-system challenges related to editor state, persistence, and rendering.

• Establish and uphold coding standards, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices.

• Conduct code reviews and mentor developers to guarantee clean, maintainable code.

• Lead and coordinate efforts among backend and frontend engineers.

• Contribute to decisions regarding architecture and infrastructure.

• Enhance and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant backend development experience (PHP/Laravel is preferred).

• Profound understanding of database design and performance optimization (PostgreSQL is preferred).

• Experience in building or maintaining multi-tenant SaaS platforms.

• Comfortable navigating the full technology stack.

• Strong skills in debugging and problem-solving.

• Experience in leading technical initiatives or providing guidance to other engineers.
