Team Lead, Engineering – Customer Sandbox

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Lead a diverse team of 6-10 professionals across various functions

• Promote technical excellence while mentoring your team members

• Deliver innovative, scalable solutions in a dynamic environment

• Encourage collaboration and implement best practices to achieve organizational objectives

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable applications utilizing Node.js

• Offer mentorship and technical advice to team members

• Ensure adherence to best practices in development, testing, and deployment processes

• Conduct comprehensive code reviews to uphold high coding standards

• Work closely with product and design teams for seamless collaboration

• Oversee the technical planning and execution processes

• Advocate for Agile methodologies to boost team productivity

• Define and execute technical strategies aligned with organizational goals

• Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development approaches

• Identify technical risks and develop effective mitigation strategies

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundational knowledge in software engineering

• Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles

• Experience in designing maintainable and scalable systems

• Proficient in writing clean, organized, and testable code

• Strong SQL skills with the ability to craft complex queries from scratch

• In-depth understanding of data structures and their performance/impact on queries

• Experience with APIs and distributed systems

• Skillful in debugging integrations and system interactions

• Understanding of data flow across various services

• Strong problem-solving capabilities

• Proficient in root cause analysis across code, data, and systems

• Experience in production environments

• Skilled in handling incidents, debugging issues, and managing escalations

• Excel in environments that require both technical expertise and leadership

• Combine strategic vision with meticulous attention to detail in decision-making
