Team Lead, Data Products & Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide both disciplinary and technical leadership to a team of Analytics Engineers and Analysts

• Focus on the targeted career growth and development of team members

• Oversee the management of the team backlog

• Prioritize stakeholder requests while safeguarding the team's capacity

• Ensure transparent communication regarding prioritization decisions

• Enhance the quality and ongoing development of data products

• Engage in defining KPIs, creating self-service dashboards, and developing semantic layers and AI products

• Establish efficient processes for refinement, planning, and delivery

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Data and technical colleagues

• Translate strategic priorities into specific team objectives

• Act as a representative of the Data team in coordination with Marketing, Sales, and Product

• Shape the role of team lead by aligning strategic data needs with operational excellence

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of professional experience in analytics or business intelligence

• Willingness or prior experience in leading a team or multiple teams, either technically or disciplinarily

• Stakeholder-value-oriented mindset

• Ability to prioritize, modify, or decline requests as needed

• Capability to engage effectively with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders

• Consistent oversight and prioritization across various concurrent projects

• Proficiency in both German and English at C1 or C2 level

• Familiarity with modern data stacks, such as dbt, Redshift, and Superset, is advantageous

• Strong SQL skills are also a plus
