Team Lead – Commercial & Industrial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of engineers, drafters, designers, and/or technicians serving industrial clients

• Conduct comprehensive design of electrical power systems

• Create computer-based models and execute power system analyses

• Establish protective relay configurations

• Program, install, and evaluate SCADA and PLC systems

• Generate project documentation and reports, including cost assessments

• Examine equipment data and design submissions for compliance

• Provide on-site support and troubleshooting as needed

• Foster strong relationships between the company and clients

• Assist in business development and contribute to marketing initiatives

• Guide and mentor team members for their professional development

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering or a related field

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution, with an emphasis on electric power preferred

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred

• Professional demeanor, articulate, and capable of exercising sound independent judgment

• Highly organized and motivated self-starter

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail

• Comfortable developing system designs and plans with limited information

• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment with a rapidly expanding team

• Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills; capable of successfully interacting at all organizational levels with high emotional intelligence

• Ability to nurture staff development through mentoring and coaching

• Strong command of the English language

• Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
