This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wyoming.

📋 Description

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.

• Must possess the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• The Tax Supervisor is expected to maintain professionalism at all times and will have ongoing direct client interaction.

• This role requires critical thinking skills and a keen attention to detail.

• The ideal candidate should be capable of working swiftly, accurately, and under pressure during tax season to adhere to stringent deadlines.

• Projects will have an increased complexity level; the candidate must demonstrate the ability to transform a disorganized trial balance into accurate adjustments.

• Prepare comprehensive and precise tax returns, while also reviewing the returns of others.

• Generate supporting documentation for tax return calculations.

• Exhibit the ability to mentor a team of associates and seniors.

• Review data input, identifying and resolving technical issues effectively.

• Collaborate closely with managers and partners, keeping the team informed about project status.

• Engage in elevated levels of client communication while managing their tax returns, potentially over multiple years.

• Demonstrate an understanding of federal, state, and local tax codes.

• Showcase your knowledge by applying it to real-life scenarios; creative thinking is encouraged.

• Share your ideas and perspectives with your team.

• Participate in regular professional development and training sessions, applying learned concepts to assigned tasks.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree; CPA certification is preferred.

• Have 3-5+ years of tax experience.

• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.

• Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Be prepared to handle pressure and tight deadlines during busy seasons.

• Take pride in the quality of your work.
