This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Prepare and file federal and state tax returns, extensions, and quarterly estimates for C-Corporations, S-Corporations, partnerships, and individual clients.
β’ Organize tax documentation and provide assistance with tax notices and audits.
β’ Support tax audit processes.
β’ Conduct minor research projects.
β’ Review and monitor financial data.
β’ Update Senior team members and/or Managers on work progress and client-related issues.
β’ Collaborate with fellow tax professionals to exchange knowledge and ensure high-quality deliverables.
β’ Engage in training and professional development opportunities.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
β’ A Master's degree in taxation is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with federal and state tax regulations, including those pertaining to corporate, individual, trust, gift, and partnership taxation.
β’ CPA eligibility is preferred.
β’ Capability to apply fundamental accounting principles to projects.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
β’ Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities.
β’ Proficient in multitasking.
β’ Knowledge of CCH Axcess, Sureprep, XCM, and Caseware is advantageous.
