Tax Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a well-established portfolio of individual and entity clients, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring comprehensive client care from initiation to completion.

• Function as the main client-facing representative, delivering tax returns, addressing inquiries, and nurturing robust relationships independently, allowing firm leadership to concentrate on strategic priorities.

• Review approximately 400 tax returns prepared by the support team, confirming their accuracy and providing approval prior to client distribution during peak season.

• Engage in more intricate tax assignments during the off-peak season as a means of professional development, gradually transitioning to advanced responsibilities over time.

• Work autonomously to manage the daily operations of your client portfolio while utilizing firm leadership as a supportive resource when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting or tax.

• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong expertise in tax matters related to both individual and entity returns, with the ability to handle a high volume of work comfortably.

• Experience in client-facing roles and the capability to manage relationships independently.

• Dependable, organized, and proficient in efficiently managing a substantial workload.
