Tax Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Mentor and coach staff to enhance their skills and foster their career development.

• Oversee office workflow and operational procedures.

• Lead client engagement initiatives and serve as the primary relationship manager.

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses (c-corporations, s-corporations, partnerships), exempt entities, and fiduciaries.

• Offer advisory services to clients on tax, finance, and business practices.

• Collaborate with the Tax Director to formulate and execute the firm's strategies for retention, growth, and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, partnership, and estate tax returns.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting.

• CPA or EA certification is required.

• Previous experience in team management is highly advantageous.
