This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.
• Receive, assess, and document invoices utilizing platforms such as Bill.com, Beanworks, QuickBooks, and Odoo.
• Monitor invoice approvals and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure prompt processing.
• Generate AP aging reports to aid in payment scheduling and cash flow management.
• Prepare, review, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual U.S. sales and use tax returns.
• Organize and initiate electronic tax payments to comply with state and local deadlines.
• Maintain databases that track filing statuses, nexus thresholds, and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
• Observe sales volumes and transaction counts to proactively identify changes in economic nexus.
• Investigate and respond to tax notices, inquiries, and penalty assessments.
• Stay informed about changes in tax regulations and assist in compliance efforts.
• Proficiency in English is crucial (both written and spoken).
• Educational background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, tax, or finance-related positions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to established processes.
