This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Creating high-quality and precise tax content and seamlessly integrating it into the TaxAct software.
• Researching and applying intricate Federal and State tax regulations within the tax software.
• Crafting and designing straightforward interview questions to assist users in confidently completing their tax returns.
• Writing and reviewing test case scenarios to verify the accuracy of implemented tax calculations.
• Collaborating closely with forms developers and IRS/State agencies to ensure timely certifications for forms and e-filing.
• Interacting professionally within the team.
• Assisting in testing the work of other team members for precision.
• Serving as a mentor for new tax analysts joining the team.
• BS/BA in Business Accounting or equivalent relevant experience.
• Over 2 years of experience in federal and state taxation, ideally across various tax categories: Individual, business, non-profit, estates and trusts, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• CPA or EA certification is a plus.
• Familiarity or experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment is an added advantage.
