Tax Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Conducting tax analysis, calculations, and reports, as well as filing indirect tax returns.

• Preparing corporate tax analysis, reports, and returns for both direct and indirect taxes, including involvement in the creation of transfer pricing documentation.

• Managing tax accounting across all tax categories.

• Assisting with internal and external tax audits.

• Compiling monthly balance sheet reconciliations and handling the management of outstanding items.

• Initiating tax payments to relevant tax authorities.

• Collaborating with business units, local tax teams, tax authorities, and other finance departments within the organization.

• Contributing to tax-related transformations, process enhancements, and automation initiatives.

• A qualification with a solid understanding of accounting and finance principles.

• Knowledge of taxation or experience within the tax domain is a significant advantage.

• Proficiency in English at least at an upper-intermediate level.
