Tax Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist in R&D tax credit engagements for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) located in the US.

• Compile and arrange financial documentation, workpapers, and relevant schedules.

• Collect and assess client financial and operational information.

• Liaise with accountants in the US and internal team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables.

• Help identify potential tax savings opportunities for clients.

• Keep organized records and documentation to support compliance and audit processes.

• Professionally communicate with clients as necessary regarding requests, timelines, and follow-ups.

• Oversee multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.

⛳️ Requirements

• CPA certification is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of accounting or tax experience with US-based firms.

• Familiarity with working alongside US SMB clients.

• Experience in one or both of the following areas:

• - R&D Tax Credits

• - Cost Segregation

• Knowledge of US tax and accounting processes.

• Proficient in Excel and financial analysis.

• Excellent proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken.

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

• Capability to work independently while also collaborating with a remote team based in the US.
