Task & Process Mining Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement and set up UiPath Process Mining to gather event log data from claims systems (Epic, Facets, Availity, clearinghouses) and reconstruct comprehensive process flows from start to finish.

• Leverage Task Mining to capture user interactions at the desktop level through the claims intake, validation, adjudication, remittance, and denial processes.

• Detect process variants, identify bottlenecks, rework loops, and compliance issues throughout the claims lifecycle.

• Develop and sustain process mining dashboards and conformance checking models to track process health over time.

• Evaluate end-to-end claims workflows, inclusive of EDI 837/835 transactions, eligibility verification, prior authorization, claims submission, adjudication, remittance posting, denial management, and appeals.

• Measure volume, cycle times, error rates, and manual efforts across claims processes to create robust ROI models.

• Collaborate with clinical, billing, and operations teams to confirm findings and prioritize areas for improvement.

• Share process mining insights, dashboards, and automation business cases with healthcare operations leaders and IT stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in business/process analysis, with a minimum of 2 years specializing in healthcare claims operations.

• Practical experience with UiPath Process Mining and/or Task Mining — or similar tools (Celonis, Minit, Fluxicon Disco).

• In-depth knowledge of the healthcare claims lifecycle: EDI 837/835, eligibility, prior authorization, adjudication, denial management, remittance, and appeals.

• Experience with claims platforms such as Epic (Resolute HB/PB), Facets, TriZetto, Availity, or Change Healthcare.

• Expertise in process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart) and event log analysis.

• Strong analytical abilities to construct ROI models and business cases from process data.

• Understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements and standards for handling PHI.

• Familiarity with RPA platforms — preferably UiPath — and knowledge of the automation development lifecycle.
