Epic Application Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Analyze and troubleshoot intricate system issues, determine root causes, and resolve or escalate as necessary.

• Plan, design, implement, maintain, enhance, and support various applications.

• Collect, validate, and convert technical requirements into detailed design and development specifications.

• Collaborate with clinical users and IT teams during evaluation, design, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.

• Address technical challenges encountered during installation and maintenance processes.

• Oversee the preparation, coding, testing, and debugging of complex software programs.

• Design, evaluate, and construct workflows tailored to meet user requirements.

• Configure and integrate both electronic and mechanical hardware with software solutions.

• Gather and analyze data to resolve incidents; document procedures and solutions.

• Document design, application, and technical specifications; assist in the creation of support and training materials.

• Identify reporting requirements and work collaboratively with report developers.

• Collaborate with vendors to address system issues and enhance performance and usability.

• Suggest system improvements to vendors.

• Review documentation for upgrades and monthly system updates, assessing their impacts.

• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to end-users.

• Mentor team members in technical skills and customer support.

• Serve as project lead for complex initiatives.

• Participate in on-call rotation as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of Epic build experience.

• Willow IP Certification is required.

• Willow Inventory certification is preferred.

• Certification as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Availability to work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
