This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide expertise in support of the Joint Targeting Platform.
• Utilize knowledge of staff roles, functions, and organizational structures, including the Targeting Working Group and Decision Board, to assist in systems engineering efforts.
• Collaborate with user organizations and operational units to comprehend SOPs, CONOPS, and TTPs, facilitating the effective application of prototype solutions.
• Document user stories, customer use cases, and draft systems engineering documentation.
• Determine desired system capabilities and assess both current and new operational use cases.
• Engage with Army, Joint, and Coalition units to understand networks, systems, and processes, enhancing software design and TTPs.
• Identify unit-specific data sources and systems for integration into the software architecture.
• Contribute to training development and provide user training assistance.
• Participate in working groups, forums, and analytical endeavors that align with business line or program objectives.
• Create and present briefings, documents, conceptual analyses, and reports to clients and project teams.
• Develop white papers and concept documents for product and business development initiatives.
• Translate and convey complex operational/domain information within the team and across functions.
• Support demonstrations as a Targeting Subject Matter Expert.
• Prototype and manufacture hardware in collaboration with engineering leads.
• Assist in high-stakes manufacturing processes while maintaining strict quality controls.
• Must be a transitioning service member.
• Secret clearance is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with targeting experience at a Division level or higher.
• Experience serving in the military as a senior NCO, Warrant Officer, or Commissioned Officer.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with military officials, managers, and subordinates.
• Familiarity with Army and Joint Targeting doctrine.
• Experience with Army Tactical systems and relevant joint fires systems, including MSS and JADOCS.
• Experience in a leadership or technical role at a DIV/BCT or higher, preferably with Joint experience.
• Strong skills in planning, problem-solving, analysis, organization, and leadership.
• Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and presenting information using suitable data collection and dissemination tools/techniques.
• Comprehensive knowledge of complex operational mission areas and program requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while functioning effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team.
• Experience in developing Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, or other process documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft productivity software and applications.
