This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the comprehensive technology product portfolio that facilitates talent acquisition, talent development, and global mobility.
• Define and manage the product roadmap and backlog, making prioritization decisions to enhance platform effectiveness and scalability, in collaboration with Talent operations, Talent Development, ESE (systems), and PISD (data & insights).
• Lead the entire product lifecycle management from discovery and design through to launch and ongoing optimization, ensuring a return on technology investment.
• Manage Talent technology requirements, ensuring that systems, integrations, and in-platform processes are scalable, well-designed, and aligned with operational needs.
• Represent the user perspective (candidates, employees, managers, Talent practitioners) to guide product decisions, technology-enabled workflow design, and experience enhancements.
• Promote adoption, engagement, and measurable value realization (efficiency, quality, candidate & employee experience) across Talent technology investments.
• Serve as the primary Talent-facing product owner for technology solutions, aligning stakeholders and translating business needs into clear priorities for PISD, ESE, and vendors.
• Collaborate with PISD to utilize data and insights to inform decisions, assess impact, and promote continuous improvement.
• Enable and expand responsible AI capabilities within Talent technology platforms and workflows in alignment with the central PPL AI roadmap.
• Implement data governance and security policies (e.g., data retention, access controls, compliance) within Talent systems, in accordance with Trust & Security and PISD.
• Stay updated on HR technology and AI trends to guide strategy and innovation.
• Collaborate with enablement, change management, and communications teams to foster adoption and sustained usage.
• Work with procurement and legal teams as the Talent organization’s point of contact for technology vendor contract timelines and renewal negotiations or deprecation aligned with the roadmap.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in HR/talent acquisition technology, program management, product management, or technology strategy, ideally within enterprise SaaS environments.
• Proven experience in driving technology-enabled business outcomes within a cross-functional setting.
• Strong capability to translate business needs into prioritized requirements and collaborate effectively with technical and data partners.
• Experience with Talent or HR technology platforms (e.g., LMS, HCM, performance management, or talent marketplaces).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights (in partnership with analytics teams) to guide decisions.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and bring clarity in complex environments.
• Experience with AI/ML-enabled features or tools within enterprise platforms or workflows (e.g., automation, recommendations, copilots).
• Strong understanding of how data, workflows, and systems support AI use cases, with the ability to translate business needs into AI-enabled product opportunities.
• Familiarity with responsible AI principles, including data privacy, bias mitigation, and proper use of employee data.
