This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Act as an SAP Specialist and a key technical resource for essential tax, fiscal, accounting, and financial operations, including master data, billing invoices, purchase orders, and financial setup in procurement.
• Oversee incidents, changes, and system enhancements that impact operational stability, covering cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, Tax Reform, billing and accounting closures, Outbound GRC, DRC, TAXBRJ, and TAXBRA within ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Maintain the operational continuity of SAP systems utilized in critical processes by independently resolving complex incidents quickly and with the appropriate level of priority.
• Monitor, evaluate, and suggest enhancements to SAP processes and solutions, pinpointing root causes, operational risks, and opportunities for technological progress.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the SAP MM and SD modules, focusing on tax, fiscal, accounting, and financial implications.
• Analyze and resolve intricate scenarios related to billing, indirect taxes, master data, fiscal integrations, material movements, and their accounting and financial consequences.
• Assist in improving tax, fiscal, accounting, and financial closing processes, along with ancillary tax responsibilities, integrations with satellite systems, and tax solutions.
• Manage incidents, requests, changes, and enhancements in collaboration with business units, interface teams, vendors, and specialized consulting firms.
• Collaborate with external consulting firms, including environments supported by Rimini, ensuring technical alignment, governance, quality, and effective knowledge transfer.
• Operate across DEV, QAS, and PRD environments while adhering to change management protocols, governance, compliance standards, and IT best practices.
• Monitor incident, recurrence, and root-cause metrics, recommending strategies to mitigate risks and foster continuous improvement.
• Contribute to documentation, process standardization, technical decision-making, and the enhancement of the internal knowledge base.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration with a Systems focus, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience as an SAP Specialist, SAP Consultant, or in a similar role within highly critical corporate environments, with direct participation in support, projects, complex incidents, and solution enhancements.
• Practical knowledge of the SAP MM and SD modules, particularly in billing, indirect taxes, master data, procurement, material movements, fiscal integration, and accounting and financial ramifications.
• Strong comprehension of FI/CO processes to evaluate the accounting, financial, and controlling implications linked to logistics, fiscal, and commercial activities.
• Significant experience with tax, fiscal, accounting, and financial processes, along with the ability to grasp end-to-end impacts and suggest sustainable business solutions.
• Familiarity with, or the ability to rapidly address, the challenges posed by Tax Reform, taking into account regulatory, fiscal, system, and operational influences throughout a long-term transition phase.
• Proven capacity to identify root causes, suggest solutions, prioritize critical issues, and independently drive resolutions with minimal guidance.
• Experience with SAP ECC, as well as an understanding of the shift to SAP S/4HANA and the effects of process simplification and adaptation.
• Experience with SAP integrations and satellite systems, including fiscal interfaces, calculation engines, regulatory solutions, and tools that support tax, financial, fiscal, and accounting processes.
• Ability to work in high-volume transaction settings with regulatory demands, a strong necessity for operational continuity, and exposure to critical business processes.
• Proven experience analyzing and resolving complex scenarios involving taxes, billing, tax assessments, module integrations, and their fiscal, accounting, and financial impacts.
• Demonstrated expertise with the SAP MM, SAP SD, and FI/CO modules.
• Preferred: experience with Taxbrj, Taxbra, GRC, DRC, or tax and accounting engines.
• Preferred: experience with or knowledge of the Rimini support model.
• Preferred: experience with or knowledge of artificial intelligence.
