Systems Specialist – Lighting and AV Control

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with project design leads for audio-visual and lighting systems to create detailed control systems.

• Engage in the development of drawings, schedules, and specification packages.

• Communicate effectively with design leads to grasp the project’s objectives.

• Partner with the design team to produce project deliverables.

• Support on-site installation supervision, integration, and project programming.

• Conduct equipment research and liaise with manufacturers.

• Participate in project meetings, providing agendas and notes.

• Execute quality assurance and quality control on all client deliverables.

• Travel to project sites and client meetings as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in control and show design.

• Proficient in 3D drafting using either Vectorworks or AutoCAD.

• Familiarity with theatrical control design.

• Understanding of the creative process.

• Capable of reading architectural blueprints and interpreting electrical drawings.

• Strong knowledge of current technology and industry standards related to control design.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or G Suite.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
