📋 Description

• Represent the requirements of the business within an Agile delivery team.

• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with business stakeholders.

• Serve as a liaison for business stakeholders, orchestrating and spearheading the analysis efforts for new system implementations, as well as system upgrades and maintenance.

• May facilitate collaborative decomposition sessions to outline the high-level scope of work across business and IT domains.

• Work together with business partners, IT teams, and delivery groups on complex business challenges to identify, refine, and document business requirements in the form of epics, features, and user stories, ensuring clear acceptance criteria.

• Apply process analysis and cost-benefit analysis skills regularly.

• Utilize a variety of techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process analysis, use cases, story mapping, and task and workflow analysis.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Premera IT systems within the aligned domain (Claims) as well as supporting business and IT areas.

• Research, inform, and recommend opportunities for leveraging business and technology solutions to solve business issues.

• Exhibit a strong understanding of data considerations relevant to the assigned domain.

• Create queries to troubleshoot, develop metrics, and generate ad hoc reports as necessary.

• Aggregate, monitor, analyze, and produce reports.

• Conduct data analysis to aid in defining functional requirements.

• Create more complex data mappings and begin to independently develop modeling and data transformation rules.

• May engage in multiple testing efforts.

• Construct test scenarios and analyze data from testing activities.

• Collaborate with software developers to compose test scripts.

• Employ data extraction tools to verify test results.

• May offer direction and support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Contribute insights on backlog priorities and dependencies.

• Identify and spearhead opportunities for improvement through analysis and understanding of the business domain and technology solutions.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts within the team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in systems analysis.

• Familiarity with a software development environment utilizing Agile practices, including Scrum and SAFe.

• Knowledge of project delivery models, including Agile and Waterfall.

• Proficient in SQL for data analysis.

• Experience within the healthcare or health insurance industry is advantageous.

• Familiarity with product development tools such as Azure DevOps Services, Visual Studio, Confluence, and Product Plan.
