Survey Technician – Heavy Civil Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute accurate field layouts in accordance with construction blueprints.

• Precisely layout intricate structures.

• Perform layout and as-built surveys for penstock water conveyance systems.

• Conduct comprehensive topographical surveys.

• Utilize CAD software for calculating quantities.

• Carry out field calculations with a high degree of accuracy.

• Establish control points across various work sites.

• Understand and implement site emergency response protocols.

• Recognize and apply site environmental response strategies, including the deployment of spill kits and erosion control measures.

• Comply with all relevant site safety regulations pertaining to the assigned duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a construction surveyor.

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Trimble GNSS and Robotic equipment are essential.

• Successful completion of a 1–2 year diploma in Geomatics or Land Survey Technology.

• A valid Class 5 driver's licence is required.

• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol pre-screening tests.

• Physical capability to perform the demanding tasks of the position.
