This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Carry out accurate field layouts according to construction blueprints.
β’ Precisely layout intricate structures.
β’ Perform layout and as-built surveys for penstock water conveyance systems.
β’ Execute comprehensive topographical surveys.
β’ Use CAD software for calculating quantities.
β’ Make field calculations with a high degree of accuracy.
β’ Set up control points across various work locations.
β’ Understand and implement site emergency response protocols.
β’ Grasp and apply site environmental response strategies, including the use of spill kits and erosion control measures.
β’ Follow all safety regulations pertinent to the assigned tasks.
β’ Operate independently with assurance and dependability.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in the role of a construction surveyor.
β’ Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Trimble GNSS and Robotic equipment are essential.
β’ Completion of a diploma in Geomatics or Land Survey Technology, spanning 1β2 years.
β’ A valid Class 5 driverβs license is required.
β’ Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening tests.
β’ Good physical condition to handle the strenuous tasks associated with the position.
