This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Develop and refine complex drawings
• Execute sophisticated calculations
• Perform thorough land survey investigations
• Ensure that all CAD outputs adhere to the highest standards of accuracy and precision
• Validate that all maps and drawings faithfully reflect the surveyed information while complying with project requirements and industry regulations
• Assume a mentorship role, providing guidance and support to junior technicians in their tasks
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• In-depth knowledge of CAD and surveying concepts
• Capability to oversee multiple projects concurrently
• Ability to mentor and assist less experienced CAD Technicians
• Background in subdivisions and plots
• Basic knowledge of reading construction plans, procedures, and conducting field calculations
• Dedication to ongoing learning and professional growth, with a readiness to stay informed about the latest CAD software and surveying advancements
• Familiarity with additional relevant software (such as GIS or BIM tools) and technologies used in surveying and civil engineering
• Willingness to receive training at one of the BCSC office locations
