Support Specialist, Accounting & Financial Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• In the role of Support Specialist — Accounting & Financial Management, you will establish yourself as a subject matter and platform expert.

• You will serve as the main point of contact for clients who have selected Pennylane as their primary software for accounting and financial management.

• This position places you at the core of the 360° customer experience, enabling clients and their accountants to fully utilize Pennylane to support their growth.

• As part of the Application & Technical Support team, you will act as the primary liaison between our clients' executives, their internal accountants, and accounting firms.

• You will engage daily with users to understand the challenges they face.

• After thorough investigation, your objective will be to provide responses or solutions to your contacts, or escalate issues to the technical teams when necessary.

• Additionally, you will assist company and firm accountants in importing their data into Pennylane to streamline the migration process.

• In the first three months, you will participate in the Pennylane Academy, receiving ongoing training on the product and the team's processes.

• From months four to six, you will help in creating and updating client-facing support materials to enhance their autonomy.


⛳️ Requirements

• A background in accounting education (e.g., BTS CGO, DCG, BTS Assistant de Gestion PME-PMI, Master's CCA, or Bachelor's in Administration and Accounting).

• At least 4 years of experience in an accounting firm (preferably having worked through a minimum of three fiscal periods).

• Experience working directly with company leaders is advantageous (e.g., in internal advisory roles).

• A keen interest in innovative work tools and emerging technologies.

• Self-sufficiency and the capability to independently solve problems and devise solutions.

• Familiarity with Pennylane is beneficial.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Strong written communication abilities and a pedagogical approach to engage with users clearly and professionally.

• Capacity to comprehend and respond to client needs, provide excellent service, and maintain robust client relationships.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Flexibility to adapt to the rapid developments of the tool.

• Eagerness to learn and keep abreast of product advancements.
