This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• As a Financial Management and Accounting Specialist, you will function as both a domain and platform expert.
• You will serve as the primary contact for our clientele who have selected Pennylane as their main software for accounting and financial management.
• As a part of the Application and Technical Support team, you will act as the key liaison between our clients' executives, their internal accountants, and external accounting firms.
• You will engage with users on a daily basis to understand the challenges they face.
• After conducting thorough investigations, your aim will be to offer solutions or answers to users, or escalate issues to the technical teams when necessary.
• You will also assist company accountants and accounting firms in onboarding their data into Pennylane to streamline the migration process.
• During the first 3 months: You will undergo training and integration through the Pennylane Academy, gaining insights into the company and its departments while identifying key stakeholders.
• From months 4 to 6: You will experience increased autonomy, managing more complex client requests.
• You will become a product expert and spearhead projects aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction.
• A background in accounting (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS in SME Management Assistance, Master's in CCA, or Bachelor's in Administrative and Accounting Management — or equivalent).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting firm (preferably having completed at least three fiscal periods).
• Experience working directly with company leaders is advantageous (e.g., internal advisory roles).
• A passion for innovative work tools and emerging technologies.
• Capability to work independently, resolve problems autonomously, and devise solutions.
• Familiarity with the Pennylane platform is a plus.
• Proficient level of English.
• Excellent written communication skills and a pedagogical approach for clear and professional user interactions.
• Ability to comprehend and address client needs, offer outstanding service, and nurture strong client relationships.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Adaptability to the rapid development of the product.
• A willingness to learn and stay informed about product updates.
