This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• In the role of Support Specialist — Financial Control & Accounting, you will serve as both a subject-matter expert and a platform expert.
• You will be the main point of contact for clients who have selected Pennylane as their primary software for accounting and financial management.
• Daily interaction with users will allow you to understand the challenges they face.
• After thorough investigation, your objective will be to provide a solution or response to the user, or escalate the issue to the technical teams when necessary.
• Additionally, you will assist company and firm accountants in importing their data into Pennylane to facilitate their migration.
• During the first 3 months: You will participate in the Pennylane Academy and receive ongoing training on the product and the team's procedures.
• In months 4–6: You will gain independence and start managing more complex customer requests.
• Looking ahead, you will have the chance to progress to addressing more advanced issues within the Support team and potentially other teams.
• A background in accounting education (such as BTS CGO, DCG, BTS Business Administration for SMEs, Master in Accounting, Control & Audit (CCA), or a Bachelor in Administration and Accounting).
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a public accounting firm (preferably having completed at least three fiscal periods or busy seasons).
• Experience working directly with company leaders is advantageous (for example, in internal advisory roles).
• A passion for innovative work tools and emerging technologies.
• The ability to work autonomously and solve problems independently.
• Familiarity with the Pennylane platform is beneficial.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts in a clear and pedagogical manner when engaging with users.
• A keen understanding of client needs, delivering exceptional service, and maintaining robust client relationships.
• The capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to the rapid evolution of the tool.
• A willingness to learn and stay updated with product developments.
