This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.
• Initiating production processes: setting up glass orders, verifying hardware availability, and procuring any custom hardware or materials as necessary.
• Inventory management: predicting demand and ensuring warehouses are adequately stocked.
• Supplier identification: discovering and assessing local and international suppliers.
• Negotiating pricing, payment conditions, and delivery schedules.
• Ordering supplies for the installation team and warehouse based on communications.
• Following up with suppliers regarding order progress and resolving any delivery or pickup issues to warehouses.
• Analyzing technical drawings and specifications to generate material lists.
• Verifying dimensions, finishes, and quality standards prior to ordering.
• Monitoring changes in estimates and documentation.
• Ensuring that technical documents and component orders are ready on time for container arrivals.
• Engaging in cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Project Managers, designers/engineers, and estimators.
• Assisting teams with substitutions and change orders.
• Providing pricing and material information for budgeting purposes.
• Aiding the warehouse team in verifying that parts align with drawings.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement, supply chain, or engineering support within construction, manufacturing, or related fields.
• Capability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent organizational skills with a background in creating material lists from specifications.
• Experience in supplier negotiations and international sourcing.
• Proficiency in working with spreadsheets and procurement systems.
• Fluent in English (B2 level) and Russian.
• Ability to thrive in a multitasking environment, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software for reviewing technical drawings.
• Experience using CRM systems for purchasing and inventory management.
