Supply Chain Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee inventory planning, order flow, production scheduling, transfer activities, and resolution of shortages for designated product lines and distribution centers.

• Enhance customer demand responsiveness by tracking supply availability, analyzing planning signals, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring optimal inventory distribution across markets.

• Assess item planning data to ensure precise supply, demand, and inventory indicators.

• Assist in initiatives aimed at reducing excess inventory through rework planning.

• Handle spike orders, blocked orders, and related exceptions within the order process.

• Address customer and sales inquiries by providing timely updates on order status, inventory availability, and supply limitations.

• Generate, release, and organize work orders for your designated region or product categories.

• Track the status of production orders and relay priorities to the Operations team.

• Evaluate planned distribution orders and coordinate with the relevant region.

• Compile, summarize, and distribute Inventory Outlook Reports and logistics reports for Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Proven experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, production planning, order management, or materials planning.

• Proficiency in ERP, MRP, inventory planning, or order management systems.

• Strong skills in Excel and reporting.

• Competence in analyzing inventory, order, shortage, and production data.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage across various departments and regions.

• Capability to juggle multiple priorities, deadlines, and urgent order issues effectively.

• High attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.

• Experience in supporting automotive, aftermarket, manufacturing, or distribution operations is preferred.

• Familiarity with work order planning, distribution orders, purchase orders, transfers, and shortage management is preferred.

• Knowledge of fill-rate metrics, backorder reporting, inventory outlook reporting, and production prioritization is preferred.

• Experience in coordinating with Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, and Distribution center teams is preferred.

• Understanding of rework, excess reduction, and inventory optimization processes is preferred.
