Supply Chain Manager, Nutritional Supplements

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Essential role spanning the entire process chain, from sourcing raw materials to delivering the finished product.

• Oversee and coordinate the full supply chain for nutritional supplements.

• Track demand, manage inventory levels, and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.

• Consistent collaboration with manufacturers regarding production quantities, forecasts, and capacities.

• Strategically plan the procurement of raw materials and packaging to proactively identify demand surges and potential bottlenecks.

• Supervise production and delivery processes, ensuring they meet standards for quality, cost, and timing.

• Enhance inventory levels to avert supply shortages.

• Conduct negotiations concerning supply terms, pricing, and service levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed commercial training or a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Several years of professional experience in supply chain management, production planning, procurement, or logistics—preferably within the dietary supplements (NEM), food, or pharmaceutical industries.

• Proficient user of ERP systems with advanced Excel skills.

• Knowledgeable in forecasting, planning, and inventory management systems.

• Strong understanding of quality requirements, shelf-life considerations, and batch/lot processes (dietary supplements/food).

• Strategic insight into operational processes.
