This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Take full ownership of the supply chain from start to finish for designated portfolio companies, focusing on cost efficiency and delivery reliability as the main KPIs.
• Develop, enhance, and expand inventory management systems—including demand forecasting, purchase order management, and fulfillment logistics—to facilitate rapid growth.
• Oversee relationships with 3PL warehouses and manage last-mile delivery operations to boost efficiency, lower costs, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Establish and nurture relationships with manufacturers, coordinating production schedules, quality benchmarks, and lead times—with manufacturers located in both China and the USA.
• Lead the end-to-end process of launching new SKUs from a supply chain standpoint—including product sourcing, packaging design and strategy, cost analysis, and production feasibility.
• Enhance margins through packaging optimization, vendor negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives throughout the entire supply chain, from manufacturing to final delivery.
• Manage Amazon supply chain operations, covering backend inventory management, packaging compliance, and troubleshooting issues with Amazon and agency partners.
• Assess the feasibility of new channels, including wholesale opportunities, and offer strategic recommendations on operational preparedness.
• Utilize data to monitor, measure, and report on critical supply chain metrics—creating insights and actionable recommendations to inform decision-making.
• Create reusable systems and playbooks to ensure that supply chain infrastructure grows across the portfolio instead of being redeveloped for each company.
• Employ AI, automation, and contemporary tools to enhance speed, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with marketing, product development, customer support, and Operations Engineering teams to ensure smooth execution.
• 5–7 years of experience in supply chain operations within direct-to-consumer e-commerce, preferably in a startup or high-growth setting.
• Direct experience in sourcing and managing production with manufacturers in both China and the USA.
• Demonstrated experience in managing 3PL partnerships, optimizing warehouse operations, and coordinating last-mile logistics.
• Familiarity with Shopify, including order fulfillment processes and inventory integrations.
• Experience in subscription-based business models is highly advantageous.
• A strong analytical mindset and systems-thinking capability, with the ability to devise operational strategies from the ground up to support scalable growth.
• Capacity to manage multiple portfolio companies and competing priorities concurrently.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—clear, concise, and context-sensitive.
