
Supply Chain Associate Director – 6 months contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Organize cluster/affiliate Demand Planning meetings to synchronize stakeholders on demand management, supply, and inventory levels.
• Develop and enhance the S&OP process, advocate its tools across functions, ensure consensus on forecasts, and manage supply escalations.
• Maintain expertise in supply chain elements: demand management, replenishment, inventory, promotional planning, logistics, and seasonal planning.
• Report on region-specific KPIs; establish additional metrics to bolster affiliate performance.
• Engage in product launches: ensure forecast accuracy for launches, monitor sales against forecasts for 6-12 months post-launch, and recommend adjustments to inventory strategies.
• Assist in all financial cycles: forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning by providing thorough analysis of the demand plan.
• Foster and sustain effective cross-functional relationships with business leaders, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams.
• 3+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical, Veterinary, or Consumer Goods sectors.
• Strong business and financial acumen coupled with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in SAP and other Supply Chain systems/tools, particularly in Demand and Replenishment processes.
• Familiarity with Supply Chain concepts, tools, business processes, and predictive analytics.
• A degree in Supply Chain Management (or CPIM certified or in progress) or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence widely.
• Certification as an Operational Excellence AGILE Leader, green belt certification, or equivalent training is required.
• Fluent in English and the local language.
