Supplier Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the team to inspect generator packages, utilizing available documentation resources.

• Assess nonconformance data within the quality management system.

• Initiate corrective action requests with suppliers for significant and recurring nonconformances.

• Validate the corrective actions taken by suppliers.

• Assist in first article inspections as a secondary auditor.

• Aid in supplier qualification audits by collecting documentation and recording Gemba observations.

• Engage in ongoing education related to new solutions, technologies, and skills.

• Work in tandem with the team to meet Continuous Improvement goals and objectives.

• Execute other related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in quality engineering is essential.

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline is preferred.

• Certification in quality methodologies (such as Six Sigma or ASQ) is advantageous.

• A general understanding of mechanical and electrical product designs and concepts is required.

• Experience in data analysis is necessary.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are essential.

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

• An excellent driving record is required.

• Willingness to travel at least 50% to various job sites across North America, as needed.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
