Supplier Quality & Development Engineer – Commodity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the qualification of suppliers, conduct audits, and lead initiatives for performance enhancement.

• Implement root cause analysis and corrective measures utilizing quality methodologies such as 8D, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and SPC.

• Evaluate supplier quality data to pinpoint risks, trends, and opportunities for ongoing improvement.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and suppliers to guarantee quality and regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

• Assist in supplier development, process transfers, and the introduction of new products while ensuring supplier readiness.

• Cultivate trustworthy relationships with suppliers and drive sustainable quality improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field (or equivalent experience).

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Supply Chain Operations.

• Profound understanding of quality systems, supplier auditing processes, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, and structured problem-solving approaches.

• Proven experience in enhancing supplier performance and fostering continuous improvement; Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities, capable of influencing at all levels.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Openness to international travel (up to 50%).
