Supplier Development Lead – Midwest, USA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Drive operational excellence and ensure process compliance within the supply chain through on-site assessments and visits.

• Assist key suppliers in resolving critical issues.

• Coordinate and address company-wide risks and obstacles to maintain manufacturing, supply chain, and delivery timelines.

• Report the progress of key suppliers on operational initiatives during executive reviews.

• Enhance on-time delivery and quality performance across various suppliers.

• Develop and implement quality improvement plans, coordinating root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Lead on-site evaluations alongside Buyers, Quality, and Engineering teams.

• Engage senior management of key suppliers to initiate significant improvement programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field, along with 8 years of experience in Operations, Quality, and/or Continuous Improvement roles; or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are eligible to access information related to this program/contract.

• Must reside in the Midwest, USA area (IL, IN, IA, KS, MI, MN, MO, NE, ND, OH, SD, WI).
