Supplier Development Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess suppliers' capabilities to perform and maintain performance through the Supplier Health Assessment (SHA).

• Collaborate with suppliers to conduct on-site diagnostics at the Gemba and assist them in creating a detailed gap closure plan.

• Provide weekly training and coaching at the supplier's location to enhance their team's skills.

• Coordinate with the PW and supplier team to verify the gap plan and track progress to ensure the intended benefits are realized.

• Develop leading performance indicators and monitor them weekly at the supplier's site.

• Take action to speed up deliveries and address quality issues as necessary.

• Facilitate significant Continuous Improvement events at the supplier's facility.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time within the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania regions.

• Spend 80% of your time on-site at suppliers.

• Allocate 20% of your time working remotely.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related discipline, along with 8 years of experience in Operations, Quality, or Continuous Improvement roles; or a Master's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

• Must reside in the New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania region.

• Proven experience in structured project management and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to initiate, lead, and maintain change initiatives with suppliers.

• CORE Professional certification (any track).

• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification or LEAN certification.

• RTX SHA certified assessor.

• Experience with ITC.

• Proficiency in SAP, particularly in Procurement and Quality transactions.
