This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Supervise Group Rating Analysts, including managing quality control, workflow, recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

β€’ Monitor daily group rating operations and assess special rating scenarios for approval.

β€’ Collaborate with Sales, Actuarial, Underwriting, and other internal teams.

β€’ Facilitate automation and enhancement of rating processes in partnership with the Quality & Systems team.

β€’ Create and update training resources and procedural documentation related to rating methodologies.

β€’ Lead training sessions for Sales, Underwriting, and various other departments.

β€’ Assist in analyzing concessions and reporting on rating effects and pricing trends.

β€’ Aid in the preparation and evaluation of rate exhibits.

β€’ Observe market trends and suggest improvements for rating methodologies.

β€’ Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations, including ERISA and ACA compliance.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business, or a related discipline.

β€’ At least four years of experience in group rating, underwriting, actuarial work, or health product sales within the health insurance sector.

β€’ Familiarity with health insurance contracts, rating systems, and alternative funding mechanisms.

β€’ Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

β€’ Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

β€’ Understanding of health insurance rating techniques, underwriting practices, and actuarial methodologies.

β€’ Knowledge of ERISA and ACA regulatory compliance requirements.

β€’ Capacity to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure efficient workflows.

β€’ Strong leadership qualities to mentor, train, and develop team members.

β€’ Expertise in reviewing, interpreting, and applying rating policies and procedures.

β€’ Candidates must reside in Kansas or Missouri or be prepared to relocate.

β€’ Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, employment verifications, and education verification as part of a conditional offer.
