Supervisor de Transporte

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Carry out logistics operations with transport providers for efficient delivery.

• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Ensure adherence to legal provisions, technical standards, and operational regulations.

• Coordinate, assign, and schedule the daily required units.

• Review, update, and manage fleet availability for land transfers, industries, and service stations.

• Execute and produce monthly indicators for field work, including OPTs, FTO, pre-trips, and emergency response drills.

• Demonstrate visible leadership on penetration routes and towards land terminals in Cuzco, Ilo, Juliaca, and Mollendo.

• Lead investigations into incidents and accidents using the ICAM methodology.

• Monitor transport units alongside strategic partners to ensure safety, product quality, fluidity, and punctuality.

• Follow up on maintenance programs and committees for the assigned fleet.

• Manage freight requests required by the mobility area in collaboration with Purchasing and Contracting.

• Conduct management audits on the transportation of all carriers.

• Direct projects focused on operational needs identified in the work area.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 years of experience in transport administration or similar positions.

• Experience in oil & gas companies, industry, or logistics operators.

• Knowledge of transport planning, scheduling, and optimization.

• Familiarity with database maintenance in SAP.

• Understanding of integrated logistics chains.

• Knowledge of contracts and commercial conditions.

• Familiarity with operational logistics.

• Desirable knowledge of MATPEL I and II - Fuel.

• AIIB driving license with at least 2 years of seniority (preferred).

• Preferable experience in port terminals, storage companies, or other related firms.

• Intermediate proficiency in Office Suite.

• Availability to reside in Arequipa.

• Willingness to travel frequently to various operational points (essential).
