This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a team of Specialty Pharmacy Care Coordinators operating on west coast hours and provide daily supervision of their activities.
• Manage work queues and act as a point of escalation for Centralized staff.
• Decide on the deployment, coverage, and training of care coordinators across teams.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to evaluate accountability and ensure consistent execution of core care coordinator functions.
• Mentor employees, manage their performance, and foster professional growth.
• Offer subject matter expertise to clients regarding the implementation and ongoing operation of dispensary processes.
• Create and uphold internal dispensary operations protocols and consistent workflows to accommodate diverse customer needs.
• Work together with training teams on training and retraining initiatives.
• Assist in performance reviews and the development of performance improvement plans.
• Manage scheduling, PTO coverage, and expense reports for direct reports.
• Implement audit plans and evaluate improvements.
• Facilitate successful clinic launches in conjunction with operations and implementation teams.
• Ensure essential processes are established prior to launches and evaluate service failures.
• Support productivity and performance initiatives for the assigned team.
• Promote team morale.
• Conduct 1:1 meetings to identify opportunities for professional development and eliminate obstacles.
• Drive operational performance and reporting, establish productivity benchmarks, and ensure team accountability.
• Extensive hands-on experience managing specialty pharmacy workflows.
• Demonstrated leadership credibility through subject matter expertise.
• Experience in change management.
• Previous experience in managing personnel and high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems such as QS1, ComputerRx, PioneerRx, and WAM.
• Exposure to EMR systems like EPIC, Cerner, and NextGen is advantageous.
• Familiarity with specialty pharmacy systems such as Therigy, Asembia1, and ScriptMed is a plus.
• Strong creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience with specialty drug categories including oncology, immunology, neurology, or rare diseases.
• Data-driven problem-solving abilities, utilizing metrics to identify trends, prioritize tasks, and promote continuous improvement.
