This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Clinical Oversight: Lead a team of Peer Support Specialists by providing performance evaluation, mentorship, and weekly supervision.
• Escalation Management: Serve as the primary clinician for cases flagged by our AI systems or Peer Support team; conduct direct outreach and risk assessments as required.
• System Quality Assurance: Perform regular audits of AI conversation logs to ensure adherence to protocols, clinical nuances, and patient safety.
• Stakeholder Reporting: Track real-time clinical outcomes and escalate significant trends or safety issues to the Medical Director.
• Protocol Optimization: Utilize clinical insights from daily reviews to assist in refining and enhancing our automated patient pathways and safety measures.
• Clinical Credentials: Full, unrestricted psychotherapist (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LPC) or Psychologist licensure. A minimum of 3 years post-licensure experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• California State Licensure: You must hold a valid license to practice within California. Additional licenses (including PSYPACT) are advantageous.
• Supervisory Experience: Demonstrated experience in supervising or training clinicians or peer support staff.
• Crisis Expertise: Proficient skills in risk assessment, crisis intervention, and safety planning.
• Technical Aptitude: A keen interest in AI and the capability to assess machine-generated text from a clinical perspective. You recognize the potential of AI in supporting patients within the US behavioral healthcare system. Previous experience in AI/Mental Health Tech is a bonus.
• Communication: Outstanding ability to convey complex clinical requirements into actionable feedback for both human teams and technical stakeholders.
• Higher than market salary - $28,125 (based on the assumption of 12.5 hours per week)
