Summer Day Camp Assistant Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver tailored support to children to ensure smooth operation of projects and activities

• Foster a positive, enjoyable, and secure atmosphere where each camper feels appreciated

• Uphold camp safety protocols and oversee camper activities

• Collaborate with the lead counselor to plan and facilitate activities

• Prepare in advance of camp and assist in ensuring a successful day

• Contribute to enriching summer experiences for both campers and staff

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience working with children aged 3–12 (1+ year preferred)

• Willingness to learn new technologies and skills

• Positive attitude and ability to solve problems effectively

• Growth-oriented mindset and receptiveness to feedback

• Compassion and enthusiasm for engaging with children

• Lively and entertaining personality

• Capacity to work well as part of a team

• STEM background is not necessary; thorough training will be provided
