This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of employees and foster a high-performance environment.

• Ensure sufficient staff coverage for the designated program area.

• Act as the Component-level expert and advisor on suicide prevention policies, programming, and practices.

• Analyze applied research and integrate best practices into suicide prevention policies, programming, and initiatives.

• Assist in formulating Component-level suicide prevention policies and procedures in alignment with SOCOM directives.

• Oversee compliance with suicide prevention requirements and coordinate programs with HQ USSOCOM POTFF and the associated military services.

• Incorporate suicide prevention practices into component and unit training, family programs, spiritual programs, and other activities.

• Aid in the establishment of a Component-level human factors council for interventions concerning at-risk individuals.

• Ensure timely and accurate implementation of best practices and reporting requirements.

• Engage in multidisciplinary teams, review boards, stakeholder meetings, and necessary professional meetings.

• Assist with assigned suicide prevention tasks and projects.

• Provide clinical social work services as needed, including assessment, evidence-based therapy, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.

• Deliver individual, family, group, and couples therapy; support substance-use treatment evaluations and case management.

• Evaluate treatment adherence, utilize validated symptom inventories, identify barriers, and aid clients in finding solutions.

• Educate clients on mental health conditions and treatment plans.

• Maintain client registry information and ensure accurate electronic medical record documentation.

• Collaborate on challenging cases with behavioral health and psychiatry consultants.

• Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders, and educational institutions.

• Participate in military-specific training and activities.

• Provide clinical supervision to unlicensed providers or trainees, as applicable.

• Ensure assigned teams fulfill contract, SLA, and related obligations.

• Identify opportunities for program enhancements and efficiencies within contract management and shared services.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• At least two years of related experience.

• A current LCSW or LMSW license valid in the practice state is mandatory.

• Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) or an equivalent degree from a CSWE accredited graduate school.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Minimum of two years of peer-reviewable clinical social work experience in a mental health environment.

• Familiarity with professional standards and ethics related to clinical social work services.

• Experience in providing brief behavioral interventions.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

• Must currently and permanently reside within the Continental U.S.

• Internet speed must be at least 25 Mbps, or 50 Mbps for shared connectivity.

• Minimum upload speed of 5 Mbps.

• A Category 5 or 6 ethernet connection to the home router is required.

• A private and secure workspace along with an adequate power source is necessary.

• A smartphone is required for Maximus systems.
